Ollie Hanrahan played seven senior games in 2020 to take his career tally to 16 AFL matches. The 22-year-old continued to hone his craft as a quick small forward capable of hitting the scoreboard. Hanrahan’s opening fortnight of the season showed plenty of promise, averaging 14.5 touches and a goal per game. But a failure to hit the scoreboard in the next two games led to the youngster being left out of the senior side in the Hawks’ Round 5 match-up with GWS. After returning in Round 13, he managed to string three games together before body troubles curtailed the final few weeks of the 2020 campaign. Entering his fifth year on the Hawks list and donning a new jumper number, Hanrahan will be eager to make good on his natural talent and take his game to another level in 2021.
