Everist took her game to a new level in 2025, further establishing her stance as one of the league’s most underrated defenders. Taking to the field in all but one game, she averaged 11.6 disposals and 3.5 spoils per game against some of the league’s most dangerous key forwards. Everist finished fifth in the Hawks Best and Fairest count, backing up her top ten finish and Competitor Award in 2024. Unfortunately, the 22-year-old suffered a season-ending knee-injury during the pre-season, she will look to return for 2027.
