Two key cogs of Hawthorn’s midfield could return for the final game of the 2021 season.

Jaeger O’Meara and James Worpel were both late outs in Hawthorn’s impressive win over the Western Bulldogs in Round 22 and will be 'tests' ahead of this weekend’s game against Richmond.

O’Meara missed last week's match with knee soreness, while Worpel faced a foot injury, but both are looking promising for a return to the field on Saturday.

Defence shift lands O'Brien stand-out performance

Luke Breust’s recovery from a knee hyperextension is tracking well with the star forward a test ahead of the final game of the season.

Meanwhile, James Cousins has recovered well from his hamstring injury and after three weeks on the sidelines will be pushing his case for selection this week.
