Hawthorn ruckman Max Lynch will be unavailable to play this week after suffering a concussion during Hawthorn’s win against North Melbourne on Sunday.

The big man went down in the second quarter after a collision with a Kangaroos player.

But in some good news, Hawthorn’s injury list continues to get smaller as several key players made their return on the weekend.

Will Day was back out playing with Box Hill on Sunday, marking a return to football for the first time since an ankle injury ended his 2021 season at Round 15.
