Hawthorn’s Chad Wingard is set to miss the side’s clash against St Kilda on Sunday due to calf tightness.

Wingard played in last week’s game against Carlton before pulling up sore after the match.

Meanwhile in some good news, defender Jack Scrimshaw has escaped an injury scare and is now in contention to play this weekend.

Scrimshaw was subbed out during the Hawks’ one-point loss to Carlton, but will now be a test ahead of Sunday’s game.

It comes after scans on Monday revealed that he had avoided an injury to his scapula.
