Hawthorn Football Club is delighted to welcome athletic midfielder Jasmine Fleming to the club after taking her with Pick 2 in the 2022 NAB AFLW Draft on Wednesday.

The 2021 Oakleigh Chargers premiership player dominated the 2022 NAB League Girls season with averages of 25.7 disposals, 4.8 tackles and 3.3 marks in just six games.

The Vic Metro representative then went on to make the NAB League Girls Team of the Year and AFLW under 18 All Australian team, despite missing a game with injury.

Her averages were just as impressive as the numbers she dished up in her NAB League Girls campaign, with 22.5 disposals, 5.5 clearances and 5.5 inside 50s.

The 17-year-old has also represented Vic Metro in cricket, following in the footsteps of her father and former Australian paceman Damien.

She also dabbled in netball, taking after her mother and former elite netballer Wendy O’Donnell.

Possessing an elite kick and strong hands, Fleming is set to excite in the colours she grew up donning as a lifelong Hawthorn supporter.
