Emerging ruckman Max Ramsden is set to be available for selection ahead of this weekend's clash against St Kilda after recovering from a concussion.

It comes after the youngster received an unfortunate head knock at training prior to the Round 18 game against North Melbourne, where he was recalled to the line-up for what was set to be just his second AFL game.

Meanwhile, forward Fergus Greene is at this stage a 50 precent chance to be available at the selection table again after also injuring his knee in the Kangaroos match.

High Performance Manager Peter Burge said the short-term nature of Greene's injury would likely see him back either this weekend or the following.

"Ferg did a running session yesterday and was feeling better, today he pulled up reasonably well and we're now assessing him to train tomorrow," Burge said.

"From Wednesday's session we'll make a further call on whether he progresses to full training on Friday and his availability from there.

"But at this stage we're a 50/50, we just need another session or two to see how he's progressing."

Burge has also provided an update on Changkuoth Jiath who unfortunately is making a slow improvement with his groin injury.

"Certainly last week we were in a position where he wasn't running and we were managing a groin issue," Burge said.

"He's improved a little bit, but we haven't managed to get back outside and running yet, he's still not ticking off all our clinical tests medically.

"But we're optimistic that over the next week or two we will be able to get that improvement and get him back out running.

"There's still a few games left of the season and we're still really positive about trying to get him back playing."

Meanwhile, first-year Hawk Henry Hustwaite has been added to the injury list after injuring his ankle during a training session last week.

"Unfortunately in a tackling drill, he got caught and had an ankle sprain which wasn't good enough for him to play on the weekend," Burge said.

"It's been a little slower than we expected to recover, he's not in the position to train at the moment for tomorrow.

"I think we won't see him playing this weekend, but I'd be more confident for him to be available the following week."
