Four-time premiership Hawk Rodney 'Rocket' Eade is returning to the brown and gold.

Eade will begin a new role within club's administration department as Capital Campaign Executive, helping elevate fundraising efforts for the Kennedy Community Centre.

Renowned as a speedy wingman during his playing days, Eade represented the Hawks 229 times over 12 seasons, which included Hawthorn's golden grand final wins in 1976, 1978, 1983 and 1986.

Eade's football experience extended to the coaching box, with the Tasmanian product totalling 377 games in charge across three clubs, including Sydney, Western Bulldogs and Gold Coast.

Having been inducted into Hawthorn's Hall of Fame in 2022, Eade's contribution to the brown and gold will be fresh in the minds of the Hawks faithful.
