Hawthorn has made one change for its Round 12 Friday night blockbuster against Collingwood at the MCG this Friday night.

Dashing defender Jarman Impey is set to come back into the side after missing the past two games due to personal reasons, while midfielder Cam Mackenzie has been omitted. 

Hawthorn Executive General Manager of Football Rob McCartney welcomed Impey's return. 

"It's great to have Jars back in the team," McCartney said.

"His energy and run out of defence is well suited to the MCG."
