Hawthorn’s AFLW pre-season fixture has been locked in, with a pair of hitouts to kick-start the Hawks’ preparations for the 2025 season.
The Hawks will first face the Melbourne Demons on Saturday 26 July at Casey Fields in match simulation from 12.30pm.
The following week the Hawks will return to IKON Park to take on Richmond in an official practice match from 12pm on Sunday 3 August.
The practice match will be free for all fans to attend, with teams announced at 5:30pm AEST the day before.
While the match simulation details, including fan access, size of squads, quarter lengths and breaks will be agreed upon by the competing teams and communicated prior to the hitout.
Hawthorn’s 2025 home and away begins on Saturday 17 August as the Hawks travel to Brisbane to take on the Lions at Brighton Homes Arena.
