Hawthorn will begin its 2025 AFLW campaign taking on the Brisbane Lions at Brighton Homes Arena on Sunday Afternoon.
Last season, Hawthorn won 10 games in Daniel Webster’s first year as senior coach, with the team finishing its run in a preliminary final loss to Port Adelaide. Off the back of a solid pre-season, the Hawks are looking to start 2025 strong when they face Brisbane.
Sunday’s game will also mark the introduction of debutant Lavinia Cox, as well a club debut from Najwa Allen. While Vice-Captain and 2024 club Best and Fairest Eliza West will run out for her 50th game.
