Hawthorn has made two changes ahead of its Round 2 clash with Carlton on Saturday night at Kinetic Stadium.
As announced earlier this evening, draftee Grace Baba has been named to make her debut. While versatile tall Mackenzie Eardley will take to the field for the first time this season.
Making way for the inclusions are injured duo, Jasmine Fleming and Ainslie Kemp. Fleming injured the medial ligament in her knee during the Hawks Round 1 match, while Kemp came off the track early from Thursday’s main training session and has therefore been ruled out of Saturday night’s match.
Kemp will be assessed further, with the club to report details next week.
Hawthorn General Manager of Football Operations Max Bailey said he’s excited by the two inclusions for Saturday night football.
“I can’t wait to see Mack out there, she is so important to the structure of our team and it’s a credit to her and our high-performance and medical team to get her to this position,” he said.
“We’re pleased with the strides Grace has already taken since joining Hawthorn and are excited by the potential she has, she fully deserves this opportunity.”
