Four Hawthorn players have polled coaches' votes in the opening round of the 2025 AFLW season. 

Following their four-point win over Brisbane at Brighton Homes Arena on Sunday, Eliza West topped the votes with 10, Tilly Lucas-Rodd polled seven, Kaitlyn Ashmore received two while Lucy Wales rounded out the votes with one. 

As she did in the opening week of the season in 2024, West topped the coaches' votes and dominated, this time recording 25 disposals, seven intercepts, six tackles and four clearances in her 50th AFLW game. 

Lucas-Rodd was solid in the backline with a game-high 27 disposals and seven intercepts while Ashmore tallied 13 disposals, five tackles and four marks.

In the ruck, Wales won the hitouts with 16, complementing her 10 disposals, six tackles and three intercepts.
