Captain Emily Bates has been voted in as the Nature Valley MVP in Hawthorn's Round 2 win over Carlton.
Bates led the way at Kinetic Stadium, collecting a team-high 25 disposals, with nine contested possessions and a game-high five clearances.
The 29-year-old was pivotal in the Hawks' attack, with a game-high 521 metres gained, game-high six inside 50s and one goal of her own.
She also managed five marks and laid five tackles.
Bates and the Hawks now look to Round 3 against the Western Bulldogs at Whitten Oval on Saturday night.
