Hawthorn forward Jack Ginnivan has been sidelined after suffering a broken finger.
The 23-year-old sustained the injury during match simulation on Saturday morning and was subsequently taken for scans.
Hawthorn Doctor Liam West said Ginnivan would be fit for the start of the season.
“Scans have revealed a minor fracture in Jack’s finger,” West said.
“While he will miss the next few weeks of pre-season, we expect him to be fully fit for Opening Round.”
