Hawthorn has named its team to take on the Western Bulldogs at Mission Whitten Oval on Friday night. 

After representing Victoria in the AAMI AFL Origin match, Blake Hardwick, Josh Battle and Jack Gunston all return to the Hawks' line-up for their first hit-out in brown and gold for the year. 

Jack Ginnivan has also recovered from a finger injury to be named for his first practice match of 2026. 

In defence, Tom Barrass will miss the game due to back soreness.

Before the AAMI Community Series game, a host of young Hawks will suit up in a VFL Practice Match for Box Hill as the Hawks face Footscray at Mission Whitten Oval from 3.40pm.
