Pip Peschke was awarded this week’s MVP for her role on Essendon’s in-form midfielder Hayley Bullas in Round 6.

Peschke was given the task of shutting down Bullas who in her previous match against Carlton had 28 disposals, eight tackles and a goal.

Bullas had limited impact on the weekend managing just 11 disposals, whilst Peschke collected a game-high 24 disposals herself.

Coach Paddy Hill praised the efforts of the midfielder.

“Pip was excellent this week with a game-high 24 touches, five clearances and five tackles.

“She also played a role for the team shutting down Essendon’s best midfielder.”
