Hawthorn trio Jack Gunston, Nick Watson and Jai Newcombe all earned coaches' votes in the side's Round 9 loss to Fremantle. 

Gunston was the leading goalkicker on the ground with six majors, complementing his 11 disposals, nine marks and eight score involvements. 

The 34-year-old topped the Hawthorn votes with eight.

The next highest ranked Hawk on the ground was Watson with one vote. 

The 21-year-old booted three goals for the night, alongside recording 11 disposals and five score involvements. 

Co-Captain Newcombe also polled one vote for his 26 disposals, eight clearances and four score involvements.
