Co-Captain Jai Newcombe led from the front on Friday night, earning himself Round 16 fan-voted Superhero of the Week honours against the Gold Coast Suns.

The skipper finished with two goals and a team-high 31 disposals, including 17 contested possessions.

He also managed a game-high 10 clearances including, eight centre clearances.

Along with his own two goals, the 24-year-old was part of an equal game-high 10 score involvements and five inside 50s.

Newcombe and the Hawks return to the MCG this Friday night to take on the GWS Giants in Round 16.
