Hawthorn has unveiled its Round 1 team to take on Melbourne at IKON Park.

The standalone fixture will see many fan-favourites take to the field, as well as a few new faces.

Annabelle Embelton will line up for her AFLW debut alongside Jacqueline Dupuy, Niamh Martin and Poppy Stockwell who will play their first game for the club. This match also marks Dupuy’s 50^th AFLW game.

The Hawks will regain the likes of Lucy Wales and Bridie Hipwell who were sidelined in the late stages of the 2025 season.

While Áine McDonagh and Eliza West will look to back up their stellar 2025 campaigns.
