Hawthorn ruck Lucy Wales has been voted in as the Nature Valley MVP for the second week in a row thanks to her excellent performance in the Hawks' 28-point win over Collingwood on Sunday afternoon at Victoria Park. 

The 23-year-old was simply everywhere, recording 23 disposals, nine marks, nine intercept possessions, five tackles and four score involvements. 

Hawks Senior Coach Daniel Webster praised his star ruck's efforts post-game. 

"She's an incredibly smart footballer and works incredibly hard," Webster said.

"She gives us a lot of options, and she knows where to place herself on the ground.

"She's been very, very good for us and had another very good day today, which is nice.

"She's a real asset to our side, that's for sure." 

Wales and the Hawks now turn their attention to a landmark moment for the football club, as they prepare to host their first-ever match at the Kennedy Community Centre. 

Captain Emily Bates will also celebrate her 100th game.
