With the NAB Challenge now on the horizon, just 23 days away, the Hawks continued their preparation for the season with an upper body strength session on Tuesday morning.

The session followed an hour of boxing, bike and pool though, which was done once the players had spent some time out on the track to kick-off the day.

Once completed, the players hit the weights in groups to complete a variety of different exercises tailored to their specific programs.

Check out the best photos from the session below.

The Hawks will play in the opening NAB Challenge game against Collingwood in Tasmania. Tickets are available now.

Alex Woodward begins his session with some push-ups.

As per usual, Josh Gibson puts everything into each set.

Ben McEvoy flexes his muscles.

James Frawley watches his technique.

It takes a lot of hard work to do the amazing things Cyril Rioli can on the field.

Taylor Duryea continues to work on his strength ahead of another season.

Isaac Smith takes a deep breath as he holds up his body weight.

We love him for his kicking skills but Matthew Suckling also works on his upper body strength.

And that's the session done! Luke Breust grabs a drink before hitting the shower.
