Hawks young pair Changkuoth Jiath and Conor Glass will get their first taste of senior footy in 2020 against West Coast on Sunday.

The duo have been amongst the reserves side's consistent performers in recent scrimmage matches.

Veteran Shaun Burgoyne will also make his return to the side after being sidelined for one week with some hamstring overload.

GM - Football Graham Wright said the club was excited to be able to reward the recent form of Jiath and Glass.

"Both CJ and Glassy have been in strong form in some of our recent scratch matches," Wright said.

"Glassy has shown some real spark playing through the midfield, while CJ has provided some great bounce off half-back.

"It's also pleasing to welcome Shaun back into the side after he sat out of last week's game.

“With our upcoming condensed period of games, rotation of players will be paramount with player management at the forefront of our minds."

Wingman Isaac Smith (shoulder) and ruckman Jon Ceglar (toe) will miss the Round 12 clash with injuries, while Tom Scully (managed) will miss the game.

Hawthorn takes on the Eagles on Sunday at 6.10pm AEST in its final game in Perth before heading to South Australia.
