Hawthorn Football Club Assistant Coach Adem Yze will depart the Hawks after almost a decade in the brown and gold.

Yze will take up a coaching role with Melbourne Football Club where he played 271 games between 1995-2008.

Hawthorn Chief of Football Graham Wright thanked Yze for his contribution to the Hawks over a significant period of time.

“Adem has been a fantastic contributor to our club for over 9 years in a variety of coaching roles,” said Wright.

“He has had a positive impact on our players, coaches and football program and we wish Adem, his wife Afijet and their children Jasmine and Noah all the best for the future.”
