As many as a dozen Hawks are in line to reach a milestone in 2021, if all things go to plan.

At the top of the list is Shaun Burgoyne, with the entire football world hopeful of seeing Burgoyne become just the fifth player in league history to reach 400 games this year.

The four-time premiership superstar and indigenous games record-holder currently sits 11 games shy of the mark.

A trio of Hawks, Chad Wingard (200 games), Tom Mitchell (150 games) and Tim O'Brien (100 games), will be hoping to play the full slather of 22 home and away games this year to reach their milestone games this year.

Wingard and Mitchell have form too as the only two players who played all 17 games in 2020.

Another three of their teammates will be hoping they tally their respective 50 games within the opening two months of the season.

Newly-appointed leadership group member James Worpel needs just two more outings before he raises the bat for his half-ton, while Michael Hartley (46 games) and Harry Morrison (42 games) could also have their moments just around the corner.

It remains to be seen if or when James Sicily will make his return from a knee reconstruction this season, but he sits just seven games away from becoming a 100-game player.

Formerly Collingwood-listed pair Jon Ceglar and Tom Phillips not only share a similar background but also an identical games tally, with 89 matches against both their names.
