Tom Mitchell has received the nod from fans as Hawthorn’s Round 4 MVP following the side's loss to Fremantle.

Mitchell has earned his second fan-voted MVP honour of the season following an impressive 37-possession performance against the Dockers.

It was the 2018 Brownlow Medallist's third outing of at least 37 touches for the year, seeing him rank second league-wide for disposals behind Bulldog Jack Macrae after the opening month of the season.

Clarko: The dam wall opened and we couldn't respond

The 27-year-old's game was highlighted by an outstanding second quarter where he racked up 18 possessions and a goal to help the Hawks back into the game after a woeful first term.

The two-time Peter Crimmins Medallist appears to be making a return to some of his career-best form which can only be a good thing for the ball magnet and his side.
