Mitch Lewis has been handed a one-match sanction by the MRO for striking Fremantle's Caleb Serong.

The incident occurred during the fourth quarter of the Hawks' Round 4 loss to Fremantle, and was assessed as intentional contact, low impact and high contact. The club will have until tomorrow to decide whether or not to challenge or accept the early plea.

Three Hawks will also receive financial sanctions for incidents that occurred during the match.

Jaeger O'Meara can accept a $2000 fine with an early plea, again for striking Serong, during the first quarter of Sunday's game. This incident was assessed as intentional contact, low impact and body contact.

Jonathon Ceglar has been cited for engaging in rough contact against Michael Walters in the third term and can accept $2000 fine. This incident also assessed as intentional contact, low impact and body contact.

Jack Scrimshaw has been handed a fine for tripping Nat Fyfe during the third term - he can accept a $1000 sanction with an early plea.

O'Meara, Ceglar and Scrimshaw are all clear to play in Hawthorn's Round 5 clash against the Demons.
