Following the side's loss to West Coast, Jarman Impey has received the nod from fans as Hawthorn’s Round 8 MVP, brought to you by AIA.

Impey came out firing from the very beginning on Sunday, recording 13 touches in the opening quarter on his way to tallying a career-high 32 for the game.

The 25-year-old was relentless in trying to create forward thrusts for his side on a day that proved challenging offensively for the Hawks.

The defender was also able to hit the scoreboard with his second goal of the year for the Hawks, capping off the best performance of his 2021 campaign to date.

As the young side continues to work through the lapses and inconsistencies that are often associated with having an inexperienced list, Impey has been a picture of consistency for the Hawks so far this year.

One of 13 Hawks to have featured in all eight games of the opening two months of the season, Impey is yet to fall below 19 possessions in any outing so far and is second behind only Tom Mitchell for touches tallied by a Hawk in 2021.
