Confrere Craig Williamson acting on behalf of the Hawthorn Football Club is to be acknowledged in arranging and transporting boxes of warm fleece-lined jackets to be donated to the many families left destitute with very little warm clothing in the aftermath of the storm disaster that tore through the Dandenong Ranges.

Craig a local Olinda resident, was staying in Geelong when the violent windstorm hit the Dandenong Ranges.  When he returned home to inspect his property, Craig was devastated to see the breath of the damage.  Huge trees down, homes lost, all roads blocked and without power, many people were unable to stay warm.

The volunteers at the Kalorama Oval really appreciated Craig’s efforts and thank the Hawthorn Football Club for such generosity in a time of need.
