🔥 25th Anniversary Hawk Walk 👀

Join Launceston Mayor Matthew Garwood, Hawthorn President Andy Gowers, Hawka and a host of Hawthorn members, fans and followers as we revisit the historic Hawk Walk to UTAS Stadium in the lead up to our 25th anniversary celebration game!
 
Meet at Town Hall from 10.30am Saturday 4 July and spend some time walking through the 25th anniversary Hawthorn exhibition before departing from Town Hall steps at 11.15am.

Breakfast sausage fundraiser for City Mission provided by Prospect Hawks Junior football Club and some surprise giveaways!

At the game 🏟️

We will also be fundraising money for the City Mission's Winter Appeal working with the Stadium and CUB to deliver a fun activation called "Footy Cuts" with a couple of mobile barbers set up at the top of the CUB stand. 

Tune in via Fox Footy or Kayo from 1.00pm (AEST).

This match will coincide with the Island Escape event being held in the car park of the UTAS Inveresk precinct, located directly south of the stadium. Please leave time to account for temporary road closures and increased traffic in the area.

The Northern Inveresk Car Park is the closes accessible parking. The Southern Inveresk Car Park will be closed.

The Inclusion Project, made possible by Variety, the Children's Charity VIC, is proudly partnering with the Hawthorn Football Club to assist with making the match-day experience more accessible for those living with hidden disabilities.

Sensory Space
The Inclusion Project will be facilitating the Sensory Space at UTAS Stadium - made possible by Variety, the Children’s Charity VIC. This is supported by an Occupational Therapist and lived experience staff member, who will be available to assist fans with strategies to make the game more accessible.

The Sensory Space will be open as the gates open, for the duration of the match.

📍 Sensory Space location: In 2026 our Sensory Room has moved location due to the redevelopment works at UTAS Stadium.

The Sensory Space is now located beneath the Western Stand, and will be shared with the parenting room. The room is located behind the HawkNest store on the concourse.

Inclusion Project Officers
We will also have our Inclusion Project Officers at main entrances to assist if you require during the match.
