In more good news for Hawks supporters, Dylan Moore’s break-out 2021 campaign has been rewarded, with the small forward putting pen to paper on a new two-year deal this week.

The news of Moore’s re-signing follows the announcement that Lachlan Bramble has also agreed to terms on a two-year deal.

Entering this season on the club’s rookie list, Moore’s AFL career was at a crossroads, but the 22-year-old went on to play 20 games this year as well as booting 27 goals – the equal second-highest of any Hawk.

Bramble gamble pays off as dashing defender signs on!

Moore’s elite endurance running and strong football nous have been apparent to all since he walked in the doors at Waverley Park via Pick 67 in the 2017 national draft, but it was not until this year where Hawthorn supporters were able to truly see the fruits of his labour on the senior stage.

Head of Football Rob McCartney said the club was delighted to extend Moore’s time in the brown and gold.

“Moorey is an extremely hard worker and a really popular clubman, so we are rapt to be able to secure his services for a further two years,” McCartney said.

“We saw some really strong growth in his game over the course of the year which was also very pleasing.

“We’re excited to watch him continue to develop over the coming years.”
