Hawthorn is excited to announce the selection of reliable defender Laura Elliott with Pick 26 in the 2022 NAB AFLW Draft.
Elliott is a Western Jets premiership player who made both the NAB League Girls Team of the Year and NAB AFLW under 18 All Australian team.
At NAB League level, the 17-year-old averaged 13.8 disposals, 4.7 rebounds 50s and 3.8 marks.
Her most impressive performance came in the Grand Final, surpassing 20 disposals for the first time in 2022 to go with 12 rebound 50s.
At the 2022 NAB AFLW National Championships, she averaged 9.3 disposals and 2.7 marks.
Elliott’s aerial ability is second to none thanks to her immense composure and exquisite positioning around the contest.
