Hawthorn will unveil a dozen debutants along with some experienced stars against Essendon at Marvel Stadium on Saturday night.
Making their AFLW debuts are Dominique Carbone, Jasmine Fleming, Zoe Barbakos, Tahlia Fellows, Charlotte Baskaran, Bridget Deed, Mackenzie Eardley, Sophie Locke, Tamara Smith, Lucy Wales, Eliza Shannon and Catherine Brown.
Meanwhile, nine players will make their Hawthorn club debut led out by captain Tilly Lucas-Rodd, vice-captain Jess Duffin and leadership group members Tamara Luke and Louise Stephenson.
It’s also a special night for Kaitlyn Ashmore who will play her 50th AFLW game while playing her first in Hawks colours.
