Hawthorn has reached an early membership milestone, just three months after the conclusion of the 2023 home and away season.

Following a season of exciting growth and development, the brown and gold faithful have again thrown their loyal support behind the club, with more than 50,000 members signing on for season 2024.

It comes after Hawthorn supporters flocked in record numbers throughout this year, with the club averaging more than 50,000 fans at its MCG home games for the first time since its three-peat era.

The club also ticked over 80,000 members for the second consecutive year - achieving 80,698 members for 2023 - which included the club's loyal Tasmania, interstate and international members.

Hawthorn CEO Ashley Klein said it was exciting to see so many of the club’s dedicated members jump on board for 2024.

"We're thrilled to see 50,000 members throw their loyal support behind the club in the early stages of our pre-season," Klein said.

"With a young, ambitious and talented list across both our AFL and AFLW programs, there are no limits to what we can achieve next year, and we're grateful so many members are already strapping themselves in for an exciting ride ahead in 2024."

The impressive membership figure comes amid a busy off-season for the Hawks, following eight exciting acquisitions during the AFL trade and draft period.

After welcoming Jack Ginnivan, Mabior Chol, Massimo D'Ambrosio and Jack Gunston through trades, Hawthorn snared a pair of first round draft picks in Nick Watson and Will McCabe, along with Bodie Ryan and Calsher Dear to round out a monster national draft haul - McCabe and Dear notably joining the club as a pair of father-son selections.

Hawthorn now has a waitlist for its top-tier memberships, with premium packages for 2024 high in demand.

With a Christmas Open Training session scheduled for Saturday 9 December at Bunjil Bagora, there's no better time for brown and gold fans to jump on board, sign up and be a part of the excitement to come.
