Introducing Hawthorn’s 2019 Best of the best…

Over the next four weeks we will be looking back through the year and crowning the best goal, mark and moment chosen by Hawthorn supporters.

Fans will get the opportunity to vote for what they think deserves the top spot and at the end of the four weeks we will crown three winners.

So what will you vote for?

Beginning the series with the most impressive goals from throughout the year lets take a look at our second two competitors…

Ricky Henderson Round 5 v Geelong

23 points down and only nine minutes left of the game, Henderson was awarded a free kick on the boundary line at a particularly difficult angle. In what was a high pressure situation, he was able to line up and slot it through with ease, bringing it back to within 17 points. Despite not getting up against the Cats, the goal was the cherry on top of an incredible 33-disposal game from Henderson.

Oliver Hanrahan Round 16 v Collingwood

It was his second AFL game ever and through scrappy play in the forward 50, Hanrahan grabbed the ball and snapped it straight through the middle sticks. It was a goal that put the Hawks only 11 points down with 13 minutes left, ultimately helping Hawthorn to their four-point win over the Pies.
