Hannah Looney and Grace Baba are inching closer towards a return from their respective injuries, with a return timelines set for the sidelined pair.

Meanwhile, Mikaylah Antony will need to prove her fitness this week to play against the GWS Giants in Round 10, after she was a late out from the Round 9 win over the Lions.

High Performance Manager Aaron Kellett provided a detailed update on each of the three players below.

Mikaylah Antony (Managed) – Test

“Yeah, Tony was just a bit sore in our main session on Thursday prior to the game. We've been managing her over the last few weeks with a few things. She's a young player, has played a lot of footy, having come to the club from the SANFL. We hadn't cleared some of those signs by Saturday in our Captain's Run the day before the match, so we made a conservative call to manage her this week. We think giving her a week off will set her up to freshen up and be back in training this week. She's trained today and pending a full session on Thursday and being cleared leading into the weekend, she'll be available, but technically she'll be a test for the week.”

Hannah Looney (Hamstring) – 3-4 weeks

“Progressing very well. Functionally, her markers are going very, very well. We've collected some data to assess her strength. She's returning into a modified skills environment this week. We think that a timeline of somewhere between three and four weeks is realistic. We still have some data points to capture, and there's obviously some key return-to-training progressions she'll need to step through, but yeah, she's well ahead of schedule at this point. On current trajectory, we think we can have her available in three to four weeks.”

Grace Baba (Ankle) – 3-5 weeks

“Yeah, I spoke last week to finally feeling like we're making some inroads into that ankle. We're starting to increase her running progressions with her altered-boost running. We'll aim to get overground next week. At this point, we think an optimistic target is probably somewhere between three and five weeks, which probably doesn't make her available for the home-and-away season, but should we progress into the finals, we're aiming to have her available for selection sometime after that.”
