Hawthorn has farewelled Max Ramsden and Flynn Perez after they were both not offered contracts for the 2027 season.
Ramsden joined the Hawks via the 2022 Mid-Season Draft and went on to play 11 games and kick six goals.
Perez totalled seven games during his time in the brown and gold after he was signed to the club as part of the AFL's pre-season supplemental selection period earlier this year.
The club has offered both players the opportunity to train-on with the AFL program during the AFL Pre-Season Supplemental Selection Period (SSP) ahead of 2027.
Hawthorn National Recruiting and List Manager Mark McKenzie said:
“Naturally, at the conclusion of the trade and free agency period we are required to make further decisions on our list.
“While these decisions can be difficult, I’d like to recognise the mutual respect and understanding that we’ve had with Max and Flynn through this process.
“As we farewell Max and Flynn, I’d like to thank both of them for their contribution to Hawthorn and wish them well in their future endeavours.”
