The Hawks will return to the primetime spotlight in 2027, taking centre stage in a massive slate of home blockbusters across the MCG, Marvel Stadium, and UTAS Stadium.

It all begins at the MCG in Round 1, as Hawthorn hosts reigning premiers Brisbane Lions in a rematch of this year’s thrilling Preliminary Final.

Further marquee home MCG matchups include Essendon (Round 3), Carlton (Round 7), Fremantle (Round 14), Geelong (Round 17), and the Western Bulldogs (Round 24).

As part of next year’s exciting fixture, Hawthorn’s loyal Tasmanian members and fans will also get four fantastic opportunities to celebrate the club’s final year in Launceston, with matches against GWS (Round 7), St Kilda (Round 11), Gold Coast (Round 18) and Sydney (Round 21).

Meanwhile at Marvel Stadium, the Hawks will renew hostilities with Port Adelaide in Round 9 to headline a massive Sir Doug Nicholls Round.

For the club’s non-Victorian members, the Hawks will feature three times in the city of churches, starting with a Gather Round match-up against Fremantle (Round 4), before further games at the Adelaide Oval against the Crows (Round 13) and the Power (Round 16).

The Hawks will also return to the Gold Coast for the second consecutive season to face the Suns on a Thursday night (Round 6), and there will also be trips to Sydney to face the Swans (Round 10) and Perth to take on the Eagles (Round 23).

Hawthorn CEO Ash Klein said:

“We are thrilled to unveil another blockbuster fixture for the 2027 AFL season.

“Off the back of a record-breaking year where over 90,000 members rode the bumps with a grin, our members and fans have another incredible slate of home games to look forward to.

“MCG blockbusters against Brisbane, Geelong, Essendon, Carlton, Fremantle, and the Western Bulldogs put our members front and centre for the biggest moments of the year.

“At the same time, we look forward to giving our Tasmanian fans a fitting farewell to Launceston with four huge home games at UTAS Stadium.

“There’s never been a better time to sign up as a member. With fantastic packages available, we can't wait to see the brown and gold family bringing the noise in 2027.”
