Paul Puopolo and Jed Anderson have both been named to face the GWS Giants, replacing suspended duo Luke Hodge and Jordan Lewis.

The MRP handed Hodge and Lewis their sanctions earlier this week, giving the Hawks match committee plenty of time to debate their replacements.

Puopolo’s selection comes as no surprise, with GM – Football Operations Chris Fagan declaring the small forward fit to play on Tuesday. Puopolo was a late withdrawal from last weekend’s clash with North Melbourne and was replaced in the side by Brendan Whitecross.

Saturday afternoon’s clash with the Giants will be Anderson’s fourth game of the 2015 season. Anderson made his return to senior football in Round 1 after spending a year on the sidelines with a shoulder injury, before being omitted following the side’s Round 3 win over the Bulldogs.

Interestingly, Saturday’s match will also pit Anderson against his old club who traded him to the Hawks back in 2012 in exchange for Stephen Gilham and Pick No. 63.

The returning duo will bring an injection of pace to the Hawthorn line-up that will take on a GWS outfit looking to make amends for their 87-point loss to West Coast in Round 5.
