CHANCE Bateman has been nominated for the Toyota AFL Mark ofthe Year for his brilliant grab in the last quarter against Essendon on Sunday.

Bateman was exceptional overhead to take a strong mark overDamien Peverill.

Voting is open from the Monday after each round through tothe following Sunday night.

In 2007, the winners of the Toyota AFL Mark and Goal of theYear awards will each receive:

  • $5000for their grassroots club, also presented by Toyota
  • Theuse of a Toyota Kluger CV for 12 months
  • Acrystal replica of the official, perpetual Toyota AFL Mark of the Year andToyota AFL Goal of the Year trophies, presented by the AFL and Toyota
  • TheAlex Jesaulenko Medal (mark) and Phil Manassa Medal (goal), presented by Toyota

At the end of the 22-round Toyota AFL Premiership season,the AFL All-Australian Selection Committee will decide the overall winner fromthe 22 weekly winners.

The awards will be the presented during 2007 Toyota AFLGrand Final week.
