Denver Grainger-Barras is officially a Hawk.

The 18-year-old was selected with Pick 6 in the 2020 NAB AFL National Draft – Hawthorn’s first top 10 pick in over a decade.

A product of the Swans Districts , Grainger-Barras is set to bolster the Hawks’ key defensive stocks.

Standing at 195cm, the talented youngster’s strengths are his intercept marking and his ability to read the play.

His 2020 campaign saw him play in all eight of the Swan Districts’ senior games, solidifying his position as one of this draft’s top talents.

Despite being the size of a key defender, the 18-year-old showed an ability to play on a range of forwards in the WAFL this year.

Keep your eye on this one Hawks fans – he’s sure to provide plenty of excitement in the years to come.

Stay tuned for more draft news as it emerges.
