Harry Morrison is set for a stint on the sidelines after injuring his hamstring in the Hawks win over Sydney on Friday night.

Morrison was subbed out of the game in the second quarter, after kicking a goal in the opening term to help kickstart the Hawks' night.

Physical Performance Manager Luke Boyd said the club would have to wait and see as to the extent of Morrison's absence.

"We've had scans done this week which have confirmed that injury," Boyd said.

"What that looks like from here is that we tend to assess that injury over the first seven to 10 days.

"Once we get to that timepoint that usually gives us a reasonable indication of how long this injury will take."

MVP: You couldn't split 'em!

Ruckman Ned Reeves was the subject of a late change ahead of the Round 13 win after rolling his ankle at the club's captain's run the day before the game.

"Ned had a bit of bad luck towards the back end of last week.

"On a positive note, Ned has been able to recover quite well since then.

"He was able to join in a skills session today and he's a chance to be right for this weekend's game."
