Debuting in Round 9 of the 2022 season, Sam Butler has shown glimpses of his capabilities as a damaging player. A clean and clever utility, who can play forward or through the midfield, Butler possesses elite acceleration, but also enjoys getting his hands dirty and working equally hard off the ball. In the 2021 NAB League, he was ranked first out of all mid-forwards for tackles, contested possessions, and goals.
