Jarman Impey returned to his damaging best in 2023, piecing together his most consistent season to date. Averaging 21 touches and a career-high 5.5 marks playing primarily off half-back, Impey ticked past 150 career games last year. The 28-year-old has developed into one of Hawthorn’s oldest and most experienced players, and formed part of the club's six-man leadership group - Moorditj Kuda - for the first time. Finishing seventh in this year's Peter Crimmins Medal count, Impey also put pen to paper on a three-year extension in 2023, as he looks to continue to play an important role in helping to fast-track his young teammates development in 2024.
