Hawthorn midfielder James Worpel has been voted in by the brown and gold faithful as the Round 11 MVP following his dominant performance in his team's 25-point win over Brisbane.

The 25-year-old recorded 28 disposals, nine clearances, eight score involvements and 457 metres gained at Marvel Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The talented Hawk backed that up with team-highs in inside 50s (eight), centre clearances (three) and contested possessions (13).

The Round 11 MVP nod is Worpel's second of the year after claiming the title against Geelong for his 36 disposals, nine inside 50s and eight score involvements in Round 3.

Worpel's impressive stat line against the Lions takes his season averages up to 21.6 disposals, 11.1 contested possessions and 5.5 clearances and five score involvements.

He will aim to back up that performance in his side's Round 12 encounter against Adelaide at the MCG on Saturday afternoon.
