Hawthorn has strengthened its draft hand on the third day of the 2024 AFLW trade period, adding Picks 26 and 44 to its arsenal as part of a deal with St Kilda.
In exchange, Hawthorn has farewelled Charlotte Baskaran along with its Pick 32.
Having been drafted to Hawthorn ahead of its inaugural AFLW season, Baskaran suited up for 25 games across three years.
Hawthorn AFLW List Manager Keegan Brooksby acknowledged the 19-year-old’s contribution to the club.
“We thank Charlotte for her service to the brown and gold and wish her all the best for her next chapter - she will always be an inaugural Hawk,” Brooksby said.
“We anticipate the upcoming draft to be full of talent, so adding Picks 26 and 44 to our draft hand further strengthens our position.
“Along with our existing picks, we are positioned well for the remainder of the trade period and heading into the draft."
