Hawthorn returns to Launceston this Saturday for a second straight game, to host North Melbourne in a Round 16 clash.
The fifth-placed Hawks were nine wins and five losses heading into the mid-season bye, while the Kangaroos have won three of their last five games.

Last time we met
Hawthorn (170) defeated North Melbourne (46) in Round 24, 2024.
Last time the Hawks faced the Kangaroos they secured a spot in the 2024 finals, after annihilating North Melbourne by 125 points in Launceston.
They did it in style, Dylan Moore kicked four goals, while Nick Watson, Connor Macdonald and Mabior Chol each kicked three. As well as two each to James Sicily, Jack Ginnivan, Calsher Dear, Massimo D’Ambrosio and Luke Breust.
Hawthorn piled on 10 goals in the final term for their biggest-ever win over North.
Through the middle, Jai Newcombe (35 disposals, a game-high) and D’Ambrosio (31 disposals) ran rampant, but also hit the scoreboard with one and two goals respectively.
What's On
Pre-game will see an on-ground Potato Sack Race between Scottsdale Magpies v St Helens Swans to get the competitive spirit started on your game day.
At quarter time there will be a Superhero Dash for Cash, the usual half-time entertainment with footy stars of the future in AFL Auskick taking to the field, and at three-quarter time the KFC FLG Fan challenge, before a Macca’s Kick 2 Kick after the final siren.

Our Sensory Room hosted by The Inclusion Project is located near Gate 7 at UTAS Stadium. We will be operating a Sensory Room supported by an Occupational Therapist who will be available to assist fans as needed in the space.

By bus
Metro Tasmania bus service 'Northern Turn Up & Go' runs down Invermay Road with stops outside UTAS Stadium.
Routes connect Kings Meadows through the city to Mowbray, Invermay, and Inveresk.
Bus numbers include 110, 115, 116, 117, 770, 771, 772.
Additionally, Launceston's free Tiger Bus Service stops close to the stadium, at Invermay shops and North Inveresk Car Park.
Northern Turn Up & Go maps and timetables
Car Parking
City of Launceston recommends car parking at the Northern Inveresk Car Park on game days.
This location has 850 car parks and is a short walk from the University of Tasmania Stadium. It is free to park on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays, and $4 a day 8am-6pm Monday to Friday.
Limited car parking is also available on Invermay Road for $2.50 per hour Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm, and free on Sundays and public holidays.
