Hawthorn returns to the MCG this Saturday afternoon to take on Narrm in a Round 10 match up.
Hawthorn is coming off its second loss of the season, while maintaining third place on the ladder. While the Demons sit seventh for six wins and three losses
Saturday afternoon will see two Hawks in Connor Macdonald and Jack Ginnivan line up for their 100th AFL game.

Last time we met
Hawthorn (92) defeated Melbourne (56) in Round 23, 2025.
Jack Gunston starred at the MCG, kicking seven goals to seal a 36-point Hawks victory over the Demons.
The Hawks led from the first bounce, booting five goals to one, ruling the game effectively over at quarter-time.
Luke Bruest played his last goal of an impressive career, coming on as the sub early in the third term to kick a goal mid-way through the quarter to resounding cheers from fans and teammates coming from everywhere.
Dylan Moore racked up a game-high 32 disposals and two goals, while Jarman Impey was excellent (29 disposals, six marks), and Lloyd Meek (31 hitotus) had an even ruck battle with Max Gawn.

This is our second replacement game for the season.
As the Hawks play four home games in Tasmania, members receive general admission access to four designated away games in Melbourne.

Getting to the game
Public transport is free across Victoria until the end of May. This includes Melbourne trains, trams and buses; and regional trains, coaches and buses. Customers do not need to tap on, but if they do, they will not be charged.
By Train
Jolimont Station is a five-minute walk (350m) through Yarra Park to MCG Gate 2.
Richmond Station is 850m from the MCG.

Train Disruptions:
Buses replace trains on the Frankston Line between Cheltenham and Frankston from 10.30pm Thursday 30 April to 8.30pm Monday 18 May.
Buses replace trains on the Stony Point Line between Frankston and Stony Point from 10.30pm Thursday 30 April to last train Wednesday 20 May.
By Tram
Three tram routes provide access to the MCG:
- Route 75 (City-Vermont South) - Stop 11 Jolimont Station/MCG is 300m from MCG Gate 2.
- Route 48 (Docklands/City-North Balwyn) - Stop 11 Jolimont Station/MCG is 300m from MCG Gate 2.
- Route 70 (Docklands/City-Wattle Park) - the stop is 500m from Gate 2.
By Bus
Bus route 246 stops in Punt Road and is 600m from MCG Gate 3.
By Car
Parking is extremely limited on event days at the MCG. The use of public transport is strongly recommended.
Parking for Australian Disability Parking (ADP) permit holders is available in Yarra Park. More information can be found here.
