Hawthorn forward Connor Macdonald is set to line up for 100th AFL game in Round 10 against Narrm at the MCG this Saturday.
Since being drafted by the Hawks with Pick 26 in the 2021 National Draft, the Doveton product has played 99 of a possible 105 games in the past four and a half seasons with the brown and gold.
Having debuted in Sam Mitchell's first game as head coach, Macdonald is now set to become the first player to have debuted in Mitchell era to reach the 100-game milestone.
Across his first 99 games at the elite level, he has kicked 78 goals while ranking elite in his position for average disposals (16.3), kicks (9.6) and marks (4.3) per game.
In 2026, he switched from #31 to the iconic #9, worn by a collection of former Hawthorn greats in Robert DiPierdomenico, Shane Crawford and Shaun Burgoyne.

Predominantly used as a forward since arriving at Hawthorn, the 23-year-old has elevated himself to new heights following a move into the midfield.
From his nine games so far this year, Macdonald currently averages 21.1 disposals (ranked elite), 13.3 kicks (ranked elite), 4.8 marks (ranked above average) and 3.3 tackles (ranked above average) per game.
Macdonald will bring up the significant milestone alongside Hawthorn teammate Jack Ginnivan on Saturday afternoon against the Demons at the MCG, with the match beginning at 4.15pm.
