Hawthorn VFLW star Rebecca Beeson has continued her run of dominance in the AFLW as she led GWS to their first win of the season on the weekend.

Recording an equal match-high 22 disposals, Beeson has amassed the seventh-most possessions league-wide this season.

But a further impressive feat for the 22-year-old this year has been her ability to dispose of the ball, operating at a 74.7 per cent efficiency – higher than anyone else averaging at least 12 touches.

Fellow Giant Pepa Randall also delivered a strong performance, gathering seven disposals, three marks and two tackles.

Phoebe McWilliams (10 disposals, six marks, three tackles and one goal) and Julia Crockett-Grills (two disposals and four tackles) helped Geelong consolidate their position in the top two of Conference B, with the Cats taking out a nail-biting nine-point win over Carlton.

Blue Jayde Van Dyk was again serviceable for her side in her debut season, registering 10 disposals, two marks and three tackles.

The Western Bulldogs were victims to a 32-point demolition at the hands of the Brisbane Lions at Whitten Oval on Saturday night.

But Emma Mackie could hold her head high despite the loss, posting 14 disposals to be amongst her side’s best.
